Global Teaching and Learning Fellows Info Session

The Global Teaching and Learning Fellows in Mexico (GTLF) is an interdisciplinary micro- and meta- study abroad experience for faculty interested in engaging students in global learning. If you're interested in applying or learning more, drop by to hear from past Fellows about their experiences and ask questions. Light refreshments will be available. Globalization's Impact on Education: Insights from a Leading Journalist

Karin Fischer, senior writer with The Chronicle of Higher Education and one of the most prominent international education reporters in the nation, will deliver the International Education Week keynote address. She will discuss the impact of globalization on higher education and how global politics are shaping higher education. Described as "one of the most astute observers of international higher education," Karin has written for the Chronicle for 20 years and writes about international education, including American colleges’ activities overseas, the globalization of the college experience, study abroad, and more.
